COURSE DESCRIPTION

Our comprehensive 2 day program, Dental Sleep Medicine from A to Zzzz, will educate and supply you with the tools and materials required to immediately implement this valuable service into your practice.

You will be shown how to take a proactive role in treating obstructive sleep apnea by learning to easily and effectively screen your entire patient base for sleep disturbed breathing. You and your team will be provided the materials and knowledge to successfully screen patients. A practical and thorough presentation of Polysomnograms and Ambulatory Testing will enable you to explain these important tools to your patients and discuss the results with Sleep Physicians.

All course attendees will participate in the valuable Hands-On Session, which includes taking a bite registration using the George Gauge™ and watching the insertion of an oral appliance on a live patient. In addition you will have the option of experiencing ambulatory testing Friday night for interpretation Saturday during the seminar.

The non-clinical portion of the course includes billing, marketing, and working closely with other members of the sleep team.We teach you how to crack the code of medical insurance reimbursement, and we uncover the hidden essential elements of billing.We will also provide in-depth coverage of marketing strategies that really work and reveal the secrets of how to successfully network with sleep specialists.

Starting with sleep principles, we walk you through every step so that on Monday morning you will enter your office prepared to bring the exciting field of dental sleep medicine to your patients.
